I've used Thunderbird on an off for years now, and currently it's my go-to way to access work emails, except recently there have been some problems that I think are due to our email provider (our ISP... it's on my list to change that) not playing nicely, as Thunderbird doesn't display advertisements on half the page like I see when I login on a browser.
