Argentinean court however found him guilty, probably they have stricter Intellectual property views as to the rights of creators than American however.

It looks like he was guilty of copyright infringement, no plagiarism. The US$5.000 looks too much for an indie edition of 200 copies. Anyway, I'd not try to make an extended version inserting scenes in a Disney movie and then claim it's fair use.
