iPhone App Sideloading Coming to Users in the EU in First Half of 2024

I’ve two questions:

- Is “which will mean developers won't need to pay Apple's 15 to 30 percent fees” fully correct? The percentage may have to go down, but AFAIK, no regulator has said that Apple can’t require payment for providing the platform.

- Does this mean we’ll see (more) piracy of apps on iOS?
