One case study: Aereo

Techdirt had a lot of good articles on the Aereo case:

At the time, I was appalled that the reason for ruling against Aereo was something like, "they worked too hard to stay inside the law".

I also think that some paid shills made a lot of comments on the Techdirt articles.

Aereo was not merely streaming, they were making unlicensed copies also.

Those copies of theirs were then being delivered to their customers by their service.

If they had permission from the rightsholders it would have been OK.

leaving mainstream media on a monopoly with it.. fucking bullshit.
