I am a bit surprised and concerned that an article of such low quality managed to pop up on a Hacker News feed. Yes, there are others of low quality, but this one is particularly bad.
Twitter was always a cesspit of disinformation. It's a bunch of anonymous accounts with the ability to say anything, what more do you expect?
Correct - it's always been a cesspit that was only useful for stupid memes and thoughts people had on the toilet. You're better off getting news and information from junkies who hang out behind the gas station downtown. That it became one of the favorite play-things of the establishment media in past decade will be interesting topic for future historians.
