Y Combinator is big tech.

They are big, but if they can't invest in small AI startups, they're doomed.

That's why Sam Altman and co. are lobbying to effectively ban AI startups from competing with them, right?

Doesn't matter. He's still part of the same tech oligarch social circles, and the way they're all suddenly trying to cozy up to regulators is absolutely disgusting.

Don't PG and Jessica have an investment in OpenAI? I think YC also counts it as one of investee companies. Jessica was one of the founding members. (based on a bit of googling)

If openai were a public company, the amount of shilling YC folks do for OpenAI would have to carry a disclaimer about being an investor.
