Elon Musk's X Has Started Selling Off Old Twitter Handles for Upwards of $50k

Fire sale when the assets are virtual? Why buys a house while they see the housing market in collapse? Sure, it's "a great deal", but that asset is rapidly depreciating and will be worth half or less in six months. You can at least live in a house.

Most businesses would sell their chairs, desks, cubicles, office supplies, printers, etc. to recoup some cash before going under. In other words, actual assets.

Anyone buying an old Twitter handle is either sentimental with money to burn, a sucker, or propping up Musk with a political agenda.

Old twitter handles will have old follower audience as well. I'm not sure if that's such a bright idea.
