Apple just paused Jewish and Muslim employee Slack channels

At least the war of words in slack channels got a ceasefire if not the real war.

HR in large US tech companies is nuts.

1. Endless pandering, patronizing, and value messaging towards employees.

2. No real employee input or basic labor representation is allowed. If it happens it's squashed immediately.

Large number of tech workers seem to eat this all up. Genuine disappointment and surprise when people realize that companies don't do values, nor are they vehicles for change in society. They sell products and build brand image.
