It's interesting they describe the xylitol ones as having less burning. Xylitol tends to have a cooling effect on mucous membranes, so maybe that's why.
It's 2023 already, everybody has moved on.

People have moved on from the sensationalization of an airborne virus, hopefully the overhype will not happen again and we can make sensible policies and decisions next time, but I'd bet the people then will ignore the right lessons from history much like we do
It's about not reacting as if no person was ever troubled by any airborne virus ever before and covid was the end of the world!
