I'm hoping that we reach a point where shows/movies don't add in sex scenes unless they add some value to it.
Parents were willing to pay double to eliminate the sex, violence, and foul language. Hollywood refused to allow it even when it cost them lots of money.

When I want to watch a story, all this 'sex' stuff just gets in the way.
The animated tv show 'Captain Fall' went from edgy to just down right ugg. Even 'American Gods' has a good premise but with un needed injection of 'sex scenes' it just slowed down the plot and in the end, just started to skip 10-20mins of of just to move the plot along.
When last I subscribed to Netflix the amount and intensity of violence was jarring.
The US version of Dirk Gently just seemed to be sickenly violent.
I will probably never see another movie in a theater.
