I can't see this working out for him. What is he going to say that might make sense? He's the boss, the face of the business, and he is ultimately in charge of knowing and approving what the business does.

I'll be disappointed at the jury if they don't hold him responsible.

That may work for journalists. It will not for skilled lawyers.
