Elon Musk says X to have two new premium tiers

Dream on Elon. I have existed without Twitter all along even when it was free and I certainly won't pay for it now.
He needs to create enough paid clients to male up for it.
So thus his conundrum. He's desperate for a workable plan.
Twitter was never really about "free speech" and it still isn't. Now it is about "Musk speech" --- which many advertisers (and individuals) want no part of.
I would expect a business "genius" to have a workable plan at least on par with a Shark Tank contestant --- but apparently not.
That's his skill. Finding specific kinds of people. That's it. And for Twitter he thought that his personality was gonna be enough. It wasn't.
He tried to buy a controlling board chair. He wanted to do this on the "cheap" but in the end he ended up letting his mouth do the thinking.
