Apple Is Approaching Social on Vision Pro the Way Meta Should Have All Along

Yeah, right, because Meta tends to forget about making their SOCIAL network a bit more social right out of the box?

Why would I wear a VR headset for that? I totally get why Meta decided that they don't need a VR app tailor-made for listening to music while looking at awkward avatars.

But let me just point out the elephant in the room because those puritans won't mention it: Most of their desired target demographic - those hip high-schoolers and students with lots of free time and lots of disposable income - will go to parties because it gives them a chance to meet other humans in the flesh and get laid. And that's why they will keep ignoring both Meta's and Apple's attempts at digitally recreating the experience of watching movies and listening to music with friends and acquaintances. Hearing the music was never the core goal of their users.

Is anyone buying the Vision Pros? I thought I saw something saying they're $3500, which seems a bit steep to me. I did a cursory search, but couldn't find any data about how many apple has sold. Maybe that's super secret info.
