Indeed and it hasn't seen any traction on HN, which really surprises me. This stuff is fascinating, especially given the variety and methods of activation. It also makes you wonder what the SOTA is right now. It's also a pretty good illustration of what a 'nation state adversary' really means. If you were intuitively defending against all of these prior to 2013 then you were probably classified as 'overly paranoid' and you probably were wondering yourself if you weren't overdoing it.
