In 2019 I had a Carolina Reaper because my teenage cousins dared me and it caused me a severe (possibly anaphylaxis) reaction. I was convinced I was going to die, I didn’t go to hospital because I was in a different country and didn’t have insurance. Never again will I eat hot peppers. So traumatised.

That's horrendously unethical. It's even worse than what Monsanto does.

Hmmm, comparing the two is interesting. Monsanto pwns the farming based on its gmo seeds, interrupting the ancient, traditional and one could argue human right of a farmer to own the full results of their harvest. But here, all someone could get is some product made from the pods. It's like if Monsanto had a continent of farmland and just planted its own seeds.

Thankfully, Pepper X is more akin to a weapon than a food, so oh well.
