In all seriousness, Elon made a ton of noise about Twitter being the world's town square for public discussion. In reality, all that happened was that they got rid of the TOS, then realized they needed a TOS (to bring back fleeing advertisers who know that it's not good for business to have your brand next to toxic content), then blocked public access entirely, and now they're silencing the voices of anyone who doesn't pay for speech.

Referring to the brand by a previous name (one still on the site I think?) isn't the same as referring to a person by a previous name. No one feels bad about it when my mum calls Starbursts "fruit chewies", it doesn't make a social situation uncomfortable.
Twitter was dead the moment Elon took it over. It's his toy, doing whatever he wants. Even if you pressure him, he'll reverse the throttling for a moment, act dumb as if it never happened, and then screw it again in some way. You can't win with Elon on Elon's turf.
