There was a period of several months not all that long ago where they didn't work. But they're back now.

There was not, at least not on my phone (s10e/s23). I've been using it for years without interruption.

I’ve been using NewPipe for years, and have not experienced issues as you described.

Make sure you are using their own f-droid feed.
