A twitter bot page dedicated to converting biorxiv tweets into plain english. Just want to make biology accessible to everyone.
A laudable goal but a wrong place.
Why is it the wrong place?
I need an x account to view it, so I can't speak to the posts. I was wondering how you're ensuring that your "plain English" translation accurately describes the premise, goal or outcome of the abstracts (I assume its scraping and summarizing).
I can't guarantee 100%, but I have a lot of experience doing these sort of translations (I built explainjargon.com and had people use it for work settings). I also go over the tweets myself daily just to make sure things aren't terribly wrong & I trust people will point out when it is :)
