Oh my. I guess this needs some more attention. This might be a state actor open source supply chain issue.

And not only Ubuntu's locales has been maliciosly edited by anonymous "Danilo Negrilo", but many other projects' locales on Weblate has been maliciously edited by the same anonymous 'contributor' too.[0]

This is ridiculous, and calls into question the integrity of the Ubuntu project. Yikes.

It's just a regular thing on anything crowdsourced. Ubuntu uses Weblate, so just create an account on Github, sneak anything you want and wouldn't be understood (how many people in Ubuntu knows Ukranian? Russian? Persian? Hebrew?), ask for a merge.

This just got a bit more visibility because of the current situation.
