Microsoft Teams thinks my name is a profanity and censors it in the transcript

Sure, there’s a complete lack of contextual awareness. However, I take issue with the fact censoring is occurring at all in a product like Teams.
Censoring comes from an extremely outdated world view that children need to be “protected” from “bad” words lest they become bad children.
Regardless of whether you agree with this is or not, Teams is not a tool for children. It’s a tool for communication between adults in a place of employment. It has no job censoring anything. Adults are capable of understanding intent. If someone uses “naughty” words to insult someone else, censoring them does nothing. It doesn’t make the insult less insulting. It doesn’t address the problem, which is the insult itself. And Microsoft has no job policing the entire world on what words we are and are not allowed to use.
Not showing profanities that are said may just be collateral damage.
