Evernote web clipper does not work since yesterday

chrome.google.com

I have stuck with Evernote for the unrivalled web clipping functionality - together with millions of others. But I was worried that sacking all the employees and moving the operations to Italy might be too much to handle for a radically slimmed down team. Looks like those apprehensions are realized. I may be a demanding customer, but close to 24 hours seems way to long to be down for a service like this.

What do you use it for? Why not use other bookmarking tools?

It's mostly convenience and some lock-in because of the thousands of notes that I have already stored in EN.

But there is also no other web clipper that I have seen that has all those clipping tools (article as is, simplified article, whole page, parts of page, bookmark, screenshot) plus such tight integration with a notetaking app: I can chose to store the clip in any of my EN notebooks or create anew notebook right in the clipper, same with tags.

But if the current troubles persist I'll most probable migrate to something else (that doesn't drain my wallet as much) even if it means losing a lot of note formatting.

I believe one note clipper has those options about clip types etc.
