Meta aligning themselves with open source makes me feel gross.
Actually Meta has done plenty of open-source work in the past, Llama is just their latest one. Though I suspect this is more to hobble their competitors (Google, etc) and place themselves as a key player in this, nevertheless, I think their open-source LLM contributions do help the community.
