IPFS has ruined the public perception of what a content addressable network could be.

Now when you mention CAD, people think IPFS and freak out about bad performance and flakiness. It's a real shame because we already have a fantastically reliable CAD and DHT in BitTorrent, and it's trivial to build on top of that to create excellent experiences.
