This reminds me of the StumbleUpon extension I used to use 15-20 years ago. I'll give this a try!

thanks dude :)

I was thinking of del.icio.us. I used that a fair bit within a group of collaborators.

Yeah, I used to use delicious!

The only question I'd have about this is how long will it last? Can it auto backup to Google Drive/Onedrive, etc etc? Something about social bookmarks seems to never go well.

Really cool project, reminds me a bit of are.na.

I worked on a similar project https://huntergather.website/. Glad to see other people working on social bookmarking.

I've been wanting something like this for years! Is there a public API? I don't use Chrome and would prefer to be able to add bookmarks via other mechanisms (a CLI tool or script, even).

hey yes, you can use our endpoints. but we are still working on docs, this is a great idea. thanks :)

New Chromium based Opera used to have something like that, but they closed it. That was awesome while it lasted.

This sort of app helped hold the fabric of the internet together before facebook et al fucked it. Great work.

I've been waiting on something like this for ages! And I am not a bot.

The browser extension is for Chrome. Is support for Firefox planned?

hey yes, we will probably launch it this month. work in progress

I've wanted something like this for ages! Excellent work.

thanks dude :)

Can we start putting people into jails for using "blazing fast" in any form?

(I'm referring to <meta property="og:title" content="LinkCollect - Save and Share Resources Blazingly Fast "/>)

Maybe in Jail HN but not in Show HN.
