Braintree Payments (PayPal) shutting down their Marketplace service Dec 2023

I noticed a small alert text on the dashboard of my Braintree Payments account that Paypal is shutting down their Braintree Marketplace service. I believe Stripe Connect is an equivalent service. It allows you to quickly onboard people who are selling their own products/services and it handles the deposits to the individual seller accounts as well as tax filings.

Just thought I would post this here, because this is the first time hearing about it and I will have until December 15 to find an alternative and migrate. They don't even post the date that they are "sunsetting" the product. Their alert says to fill out the support form for more details. (Which requires you to reenter all of your account information, they no longer answer their old support email). There also appears to be no public announcements about this anywhere.

If you are using Braintree or any Paypal product, run, don't walk, to find an alternative, it has been nothing but enshitification since Paypal purchased them.
