I've seen reports of corrupted files and that has always stopped me from using it. I even paid for the Android app just to support them.

Is file corruption still an issue?

Never had problems. FWIW, I'm using AES/256 bit keys/HMAC SHA-512 on all of my volumes.

Ime. not more than any other encryption tool. Just don’t skip or delay those backups.
