Could a Nasal Spray Help Protect You from Covid?

Weirdly this isn't about nasal sprays that were being talked about as being like a vaccine, but local/fast-acting. It's about more generic barriers, some of which are somewhat hostile to COVID. I wonder what happened to the other ones?
