Yelp sues Texas for right to publish actual accurate abortion info

Yelp being on the right side of a lawsuit is kind of weird

Right?

This would be more or less in line with the details provided on all Yelp listings, no? I've seen infoboxes with everything from health grades to noise levels to whether there's a restroom available.

The relevant info depends on the business, of course, so for anything related to pregnancy services I think a "provides abortions" yes/no flag makes perfect sense.

Isn't this a free speech issue?

Seems like an awfully strange notice to provide, but it's still protected speech I suppose. Yelp's original notice, which this replaced, was defamatory.

If the 'business model' of the CPCs is to pretend they're abortion clinics when they're not, then a business search engine would want to distinguish between the two for it's clients, who aren't interested in visiting a bait-and-switch centre.
