Brazil’s Big Cats Under Threat from Wind Farms

If the wind farms are being installed in farms they may actually save the lives of some jaguars. Despite the forced eviction I don't doubt that otherwise those jaguars would be eventually killed by the owners of the land where they roam and feast. The issue is that Brazil lacks decently sized national parks with sufficient infrastructure and policing. Though in conservation numbers I believe Brazil fares much better than most countries in NA and EU with the exception of Canada.
It smacks of the concern trolling in the US about birds being killed by wind turbines, when that number is a rounding error of the number of birds killed by cats.
