I don't want a smart phone nor use biometrics. What are my solutions? Will I be locked out of the future?

What free software/privacy-respecting solution is there for this corporate-dominated push?

I don't like how Apple can decide on its own to shut down an Apple ID (I presume Android does as well), so I want some way that works without having to depend on a third-party company.
