Bacalhau 1.1, an open-source solution for distributed compute, has been officially released, bringing a wealth of new features and improvements. This update enhances fleet management with the new --target=all option, offers richer node configuration, and ensures more secure communication with support for TLS. Additionally, Bacalhau now provides external job storage for preserving job information across server restarts, clearer error messages, better GPU utilization inside Docker containers, and experimental features like long-running jobs and pluggable executors. For a detailed exploration of these features, check out the '5 Days of Bacalhau' blog series.
