You have to put 60, 70 hours a week to get that elite job

(Young) people aren't averse to putting in the time: the are averse because they know that even if they put in 60H per week they still won't be financially set and be working until their death.

They know that even after 60H a week they will still have a job that they dread going to on monday and will look forward to fridays where they can finaly escape the job.

The solution is to put those 60H into a side project that get make you enough $$$ to quit the rat race and not in a "job".
