The link marked "(German)" in the post is actually in English and has some more info and screenshots: https://www.amigashop.org/product_info.php?products_id=386

Looking at the screenshots (https://www.amigashop.org/images/Screenshot%206.jpg), the first thing I noticed is the abundance of verbs: look at, open, close, pull, push, look around, use, turn on, turn off, go to, turn around, take, give - that's got to be a record...

This doesn't look unusual. I count 13 commands and Indy 3 had e.g. 14. If my memory serves well, that was quite normal.

Right... my memory is apparently skewed by later LucasArts games (like Indy and the Fate of Atlantis - https://cdn.mobygames.com/screenshots/15880259-indiana-jones...) that had whittled it down to 9 commands. Earlier ones (including Indy 3 and Monkey Island 1, https://www.myabandonware.com/media/screenshots/t/the-secret...) had more...

Features a photograph of the lovely boxed set that's available for 35 euros.
