So so so sad. Endless consolidation. They'll have some independence, for a while, it sounds like. But it seems hard to imagine Kioxia can keep such a huge fire & competitiveness alive when theres just so few players left in the market. Samsung makes their own arm-based chips, wd makes their chips, phisom makes there's, and there's some lower tier players about. That's it.
