Show HN: IP Sync – Notifications and automation when important static IPs change
ipsync.link
Basically, we had an important partner that changed their static IPs without telling us, and our firewall started rejecting their requests. This cost us a huge amount in lost sales and a sev-0 outage, but now there's a better way to deal with this problem: just use IP Sync to stay up-to-date.
Give IP Sync any accessible URL that returns a list of IP addresses (API responses and txt files are supported) and get a diff sent to your email every time the IPs change.
IP Sync will even manage your firewall rules for you if you're on AWS, GCP, or Azure (available on the Automation plan which is open for pre-orders, 50% discount available for early adopters!)
What do you think about this concept? Excited to hear your feedback and thank you in advance.
