Wonder how many times that title has been used over the years. Product Hunt seems more like some kind of VC-fueled rite of passage than a thing that really adds value to your end users.
What confuses me about ProductHunt is that I always assume the users on the site are not the really the target customers in most cases. They're builders and hackers rather than end users (for most products). Somehow it still helps a lot though, for businesses that aren't even like Permit.io -- and for Permit.io obviously the ProductHunt crowd actually is the target user base. So you guys are extra lucky there.
