Whistleblower alleges CIA offered money to change Covid origin story

Well, the public might start to suspect something when they realize that questionable research with potential military applications is done in private cooperation with supposed “Global Enemy #1”.

I remember that the earliest descriptions of American political responses to COVID-19 mentioned that hawks who had always been ready to blame the damn Communists became very polite and careful in their guesses.

Reaction: Would the CIA actually offer money to mere analysts for anything like that? Vs., say, "shut up and tow the company line".

Reaction II: The Congressional Committees which the whistleblower is talking to appear to be from the U.S. House of Representatives. So they might fairly sane & legit...or they might be so far down the QAnon / Pizzagate / Stolen Election rabbit hole that Amish brain control laser satellites are secretly controlling the United Nations. Hard to know.
