China's economy isn't slowing – it's collapsing

I genuinely don't understand the impulse to underestimate anybody you're in competition with.
Collapses are sudden. China went from one-child-per to three-children-per. They're antsy about Hong Kong, Taiwan and the South Sea. They're quietly walking away from democracy. Their government is chummy with Russia's government who is exactly as chummy with North Korea's government. They're bullying Naval Philippines on their own waters.
Things are changing pretty rapidly in China. Up or down is the question right now.
Vague recall is that we've seen more such articles here (HN) recently, and I've seen more elsewhere.
Reaction: Dear Britain... We understand your desperation to get your so-called leaders to behave in responsible and intelligent ways. But this thing with yelling "China!" isn't working, either. Let us suggest that you look abroad - in Normandy and elsewhere - for some fresh blood, who both has the attributes you so badly need, and doesn't feel that conquering your once-consequential little island is beneath his dignity. Don't worry about legitimacy of birth. But you probably want someone who has an ample surplus of upper-class followers, so that he can quickly replace your so-called ruling classes. Best Wishes!
