Well they can't write in cursive either, so that's pretty close to dead now too.

To be fair, it is kind of a pita to use those tiny text entry apps on phones and that's how most folks converse remotely nowadays. So it really does makes sense to find ways to make it easier.

I'm old, so it does take me some time to decipher some of those, but I do in most cases.
