This seems like a natural consequence of the busted DMCA strike system. Even with legitimately transformative content, a big account risks a strike, days or weeks stuck in appeals, and no recourse against the entity filing a bogus DMCA. Effectively the process is the punishment when an entity like Barstool relies on their social media accounts to function as a business.

If someone really wants to take Barstool to court, they can still do that, but by using burners they can't flag down their main accounts for leverage.

The guy behind it is a pretty clear fraud. Just look at his absurd watch company.

Reposting from burner accounts is illegal, but also kinda smart. This is hustle culture in a nutshell, and Trump is their messiah.
