Ask HN: Looking for a simple internal purchase request tool?

I work with non-profit events, and we have a large number of people who need to have things bought for them, and a smaller number of people who have permissions to buy.

Right now our internal purchasing process is sorta haphazard, and is done in such a way that it makes reconciling our purchases to our budget virtually impossible (though it is adequate for 990 generation purposes).

We're in the odd place of being too small and/or weird to fit into most ERP systems, but we're outgrowing tools like quickbooks.

I've been looking out there for a simple tool, where I can have people submit requests, route the to appropriate purchasers or approvers, and collect receipts on those, also send email with the details, so people know to log in to look at their dashboard.

Google is basically useless because of the number of SaaS ERP companies and blog spam, and what is out there mostly seems tailored for sending PO's out.

Does anyone know anything like this out there?
