"un" ... um... does that word have a legally defined meaning? Because this is .. fiction, right?
Unfiction is a type of fiction, usually in exactly this kind of context where there is a larger fictional world the work is pretending to be a factual story in.
TIL. Alasdair Grey in "Lanark" writes about his "difplag" model of writing where he takes other reality, and twists it to suit his narrative needs, lifting language if need be, but also citing non-existent ideas in the original.
