I feel like there should be better categorization of these languages. HTML and SQL have their own specific domains: you can't write a backend or a compiler in HTML or SQL, but you can with Python and Java. HTML is more comparable to java on the frontend (android apps vs web apps) and SQL is more comparable to various nosql implementations
