Harvard professor Avi Loeb says metallic spheres are alien in origin

Loeb says the team is now confident that what they found is unmatched to any existing alloys in our solar system.

I would venture to say 'unmatched in the proportions of the elements', maybe, but the mix of the elements present in the spheres would be a common mix of elements in nature both on Earth and in Space.

Meh, he has a vested interest for his conclusions so I take them with a grain of salt. It book was interested in the conclusions laid out compelling but my intuition says there is a more rational explanation

The spheres are from molten metal being dropped into water. It's how lead shot used to be made and shot towers are/were fairly common.

I believe the article says "interstellar", not "alien".
