I don't have any trouble at all wrapping my head around the idea of a chatbot. I just don't have any use for it. And this may also be true for a large part of the general public.

I use both GPT-based search (<5% of the time), which allows me to ask lazy questions, and summarisers. It saves me some amount of scrolling through search engine results.

I would be very interested in an integration with Wolfram Alpha and an LLM; I heard Stephen Wolfram talk of this on Lex Fridman’s podcast. Essentially, I still open Python as my calculator, and my search engine for currency conversion; quick access to data sets and ease of composition is not in my toolbelt yet.

GPT-4 already has a Wolfram Alpha plugin.
