The Grayzone is an indepedent media outlet highly critical of the neocon thrust of US foreign policy over the last 25 years. Their recent fundraiser to support 3 journalists to cover BRICS has had over US$90,000 frozen by GoFundMe with no explanation according to Max Blumenthal. This is a sinister repeat pattern of what GoFundMe did during the Canadian trucker convoy.

To quote Jacobin/DSA journalist Marketic:

Don't particularly care about your personal opinion about Grayzone - this is an outrageous attack on press freedom and should be condemned. The reason @gofundme is targeting it & similar outlets is because they know few people will object. They'll eventually expand who's a target.
