Economic effects of a prolonged deterioration in the general health of the Spain [pdf]

Mods: shortened title to make this fit. Full title said possible prolonged deterioration. Feel free to edit.

Paper is examining the question. One notable stat. 8.8% of Spaniards aged 18-34 visited the ER 5+ times in the 12 months prior to November 2022.

2018-19 average was 2.9%.

I checked the underlying data. A further 8.5% went 3-4 times. So roughly 1 in 6 Spanish youth went to the ER 3-5+ times.

Further this is only public hospital ER visits. A further ~15% were private.

Here is the underlying dataset. Questions 7 and 701. You have to sum manually to get these percentages as 701 is only those who said yes to er visits.
