Ask HN: What are some interesting tools or code repos you discovered recently

I recently discovered this tool called gummy search as it allows you to do market research

This is powerful though I don't use it much yet https://github.com/Canop/broot

ESPHome has been my obsession lately. I've been using it for a week and haven't been this excited about a technology in a long time.

Note that I don't actually use Home Assistant at all. ESPHome is a perfectly good standalone system to use with just the Python native API client in your own scripts.

wttr.in is very exciting although unreliable, they tend to run out of requests.

I discovered this yesterday. It’s an improved ‘cd’ command. I have yet to give it a try but I’m really eager to. https://github.com/ajeetdsouza/zoxide
