I rode in a Tesla Model Y recently and was surprised how spartan and uncomfortable the seating and interior were compared to my wife's Lexus ES. I have also found it looks extremely weird when looking at it from the front. They certainly set the standard low for the competition when it comes to comfort and looks. Perhaps, their software and reliability are what sets them apart, but the Uber Driver said he has already needed the cars computer replaced. I am not impressed from my first experience, why are people so fond of these vehicles, is it price?
They don't have luxurious insides, but the overall design I find is still nice. Seems odd to spend resources and thought into making really neat interior design with dashboard and screen and then default to the cheapest materials for it.
