I really hope this will mean that Blizzard games will be more easily playable in the cloud, like on Geforce Now. That'd mean you can easily play Diablo IV and similar games on your phones or streaming tablets or Chromecast.
Currently you have to run them in a gaming VM (like Shadow.tech), which is way more expensive, with inferior UX.
IMHO this would be the best of many worlds... Microsoft gets a big catalog to compete with Sony. Activision gets a more responsible corporate parent. Gamers could cross-play these games by streaming them, regardless of the "host" platform. Everything can be virtualized and streamed and the underlying console or PC is less relevant.
